Less Z, tons of space and crates for storage. Fire and police stations generally make good bases. Especially since they tend to have sturdy fences around. You're in rosewood. It's a great base. Long term base typically you want water/gas or both nearby/in base. There’s a lot of spots, so it helps to be picky.

To the north of the town, you'll find a small barracks, you'll mostly find clothing there, but it will I cludevthe military backpack, which is the best in the game.
